Taking a quick look ahead, School Half Term holidays will be with us in just over six weeks (15-19 February). Film screenings present an opportunity to celebrate the break with a class or simply to keep the kids amused for a couple of hours. The following are just a couple of suggestions of titles you may like to consider screening for half-term...
- Song of the Sea tells the story of Ben and his little sister Saoirse – the last Seal-child – who embark on a fantastic journey across a fading world of ancient legend and magic in an attempt to return to their home by the sea.
- Pan - 12-year-old orphan Peter is spirited away to the magical world of Neverland, where he finds both fun and danger, and ultimately discovers his destiny - to become the hero who will be forever known as Peter Pan.
- Pixels - As kids in the 1980s, Sam Brenner (Adam Sandler), Will Cooper (Kevin James) and their friends saved the world thousands of times in the video arcades. Now they’re going to have to do it for real when aliens declare war in the form of video games.
