The DVD Concierge Licence (DVDCL) is an annual licence enabling guest accommodation organisations to lawfully provide guests with films on DVD and Blu-Ray to watch in-room on a variety of devices including DVD players, laptops and games consoles.

The DVDCL offers great flexibility and peace of mind, providing you with the legal copyright cover to screen an extensive range of films from many major Hollywood and independent film studios and distributors under just one licence. LICENCE DURATION

Filmbankmedia offer an annual and seasonal version of the DVDCL to support the needs of UK guest accommodation properties only open 8 months of the year. Details of the licence year duration are below:

The DVDCL is available on an annual basis and runs from the 1st May to the 30th April each year.
Seasonal licences are also available for properties open for a period of 8 months or less.

Ensure your property is licensed to screen films

Under UK copyright law, screenings films to audiences outside of the cinema or home for entertainment purposes requires a licence from the copyright owner or their representatives (such as Filmbankmedia) before doing so.
