Ways to play your film

Run your event your way. Once you've licensed your film, there are multiple ways to press play.

DOWNLOAD BY FILMBANKMEDIA

Download is a service we developed specifically for event screening exhibitors. Using our download service, you can securely download and screen films either online or offline, with optional audio/subtitles (availability varies by title). The files are protected against piracy and auto-delete once the licence has expired.

Each download costs an additional £10 excl. VAT per booking.

To check if a film is available for Download, look in the Notes section of the film page. To license a film for Download, email us to request your booking at info@filmbankmedia.com.

How to use Download

• Check the Notice section on the film page to see if a download is available.
• Email info@filmbankmedia.com to license your chosen film.
• Once your booking is confirmed, we'll email your login details for your download account.

• Visit Download Manager using Google Chrome and log in.
• For offline screening, install the ‘Offline Client’ when prompted during your first login.
• Download your film and select your relevant audio languages and subtitles (availability varies per title).

• Test your set-up at least 48 hours before your event.
• Use AV Test to play short segments of your file and ensure smooth playback — you can test any five-minute section as often as needed.

• Select your preferred audio and subtitle options.
• Switch to Play Video mode and hide the player control.
• For the best viewing experience, close any open apps and browsers.
