Filmbankmedia Blanket Licence Tariffs: Fitness Clubs and Leisure Facilities

This tariff applies to the background or ambient screening of audio-visual content licensed from our rightsholders. It covers content accessed via broadcast television, home entertainment formats (such as DVD or Blu-ray), or viewed from the internet within gyms, fitness or health clubs, or leisure centres.

“Background’ refers to the use of audio-visual content to create an atmosphere or ambient setting, where the viewing is incidental and not integral to the core activities or primary purpose of the venue, event, or organisation.

Effective date: 1st September 2025

If your licence is to cover the usage of film viewed by a defined group within your premises, you will need to calculate your licence tariff ‘Group Size’ by the capacity of the group or group memberships at your premises.
