Synopsis:

Leon "Bernzy" Bernstein is a freelance photographer with an uncanny ability to arrive first on the scene of murders, fires and other disasters around New York. His single-minded devotion to getting just the right picture for his copy editors, and his unsuccessful efforts to have his "works of art" published, have made him a loner. When a glamorous and unattainable woman requests his aid, Bernzy is plunged into a government scandal that will have profound consequences for him.
