Synopsis:
On his slow, unsteady climb up the diplomatic ladder, Morgan Leafy finds himself posted to Kinjanja, a new independent African state where there is little to do but drink too much and dream of escape. Frustrated in his career, plagued by a pompous and inept boss, and convinced that his mistress is unfaithful, Morgan is taking the cynical, as opposed to the scenic, route through Africa - and nothing is going to make it better but a one-way ticket out.
