Synopsis:
Chevy Chase is back as the irreverent, wisecracking investigative reporter turned sleuth Fletch. This time, he thinks everything is set for him to have a quiet luxurious life, when his aunt bequeaths him her 80 - acre southern plantation, Belle - isle. This delusion lasts about as long as the ride to his property, when of course he is set upon by all sorts of problems in the guise of a beautiful but dead lawyer, a land-greedy televangelist and his pretty daughter, Becky-Ann.
