Penny Kirkland's (Peggy Moran) Aunt Elsie (Una Merkel) and Jerry Baldwin's (Rand Brooks) widower father, Roger Baldwin (Edmund Lowe), are attracted to each other. Preventing the pending marriage of the father and the aunt becomes a purpose in life for the two teen-agers.
