Synopsis:

The tragic story of the press and public vilification of the couple whose baby was taken and killed by a dingo while they were on holiday at Ayers Rock in the outback. This film follows the progress of the case, through the years when the mother, Lindy Chamberlain, was the most hated woman in Australia, believed by almost everybody to be the true killer of her baby. A fair and harrowing study of the case, made just before the final verdict exonerating Lindy was passed.
