Synopsis:

A new twist on Britain’s finest hour becomes Hollywood’s greatest story in this comic re-telling of one of Britain’s most historic moments—as seen through the eyes of Hollywood. Wasting away in the battlefields of Europe, testosterone-filled, cigar-smoking, American GI Winston Churchill (CHRISTIAN SLATER) is getting tired of having to fight the Germans single-handedly. He needs allied support. Travelling to England to convince the King (HARRY ENFIELD) to help save Europe from the onslaught of the Third Reich, Churchill underestimates the complexities of his task. Not only is the King a drunken monarch but only with the help of the naïve yet very clever Princess Elizabeth (NEVE CAMPBELL) and loyal “Irish cockney” mate Jim Cheroo (MACKENZIE CROOK) can Churchill succeed in allaying the efforts of his enemies, foiling the meeting between Hitler (ANTHONY SHER) and the King, and exiling him back to his own country. A hero’s job is done!
