Synopsis:

“A Lot Like Love” is an engaging romantic comedy about destiny, connection and the fuzzy line between friendships and happily-ever-after romance. The film traces the developing relationship between Oliver (Ashton Kutcher) and Emily (Amanda Peet) as they meet on a flight from Los Angeles to New York and decide they couldn’t be more wrong for each other. Life keeps bringing them back together over the next seven years, but the timing never seems right for romance. As they perpetually struggle with their different partners, careers and breakups, they change from casual acquaintances into trusted friends. On their individual quests for love, they both begin to realize that maybe what they really have is something...a lot like love.
