Set in the outlandish world of English society weddings, The Wedding Video is a completely fresh up close and personal take on the wedding comedy genre. Armed with a video camera and the very best intentions, the best man turns war reporter when he films his brother’s wedding as it crashes and burns before his very eyes. Saskia (Lucy Punch: Bad Teacher) and Tim (Robert Webb: Peep Show) are engaged to be married. Tim's brother and best man, Raif (comedian Rufus Hound), decides to shoot the wedding and wedding preparations on video as his gift to them despite the protests of his unwilling subjects. Captured in his footage is a bride with last minute qualms, a wedding planner on the verge of a breakdown and Saskia’s meddling mother and out of touch grandmother.
