Synopsis:

An elderly widow refuses to budge from an old apartment building, even when it is converted into a boys' dormitory. However, in meeting a student to whom she takes a liking, with the same name as her missing son, she fantasizes the boy is her grandson. Upon her death, she still does not know that her son died in prison years before. Based on the novel "Prodigal's Mother."
