Pricing & payments

How do I pay for my licence?

To pay for your Film Screening Licence, please log in to your account.

You can pay for your film licence by BACS, credit card or cheque.

When do I need to pay for my film screening event?

We will invoice you for your film screening after your event.

If you have charged an admission fee, please ensure to submit your Box Office returns by logging in to your Filmbankmedia account.

Can I use my £150 deposit towards my licence fee?

The deposit and licence fee are kept completely separate from each other, as your deposit is fully refundable when the account is closed.

However, should you wish to discuss applying your deposit to outstanding invoices, please contact us at CreditControl@filmbankmedia.com.

Do you offer a discount for multiple bookings?

Unfortunately not. We operate on a “per film, per screening” basis.

How much is a film licence if the ticket price includes extras such as food and drink?

We have film licensing agreements in place with the studios for your events and entertainment.

When putting on a commercial (ticketed) movie screening, you need to provide the full ticket price i.e., inclusive of any additions such as food and drink as part of a package deal.

If my movie screening is for a charity event or has donations, is it classed as non-commercial?

Yes, though any non-commercial (free to attend) screening or film event at which donations are collected must clearly state in the promotional/advertising material that donating is not compulsory.

Otherwise, the film screening is considered to be commercial.

How much does a Single Title Screening Licence (STSL) cost?

Your screening licence cost depends on your venue capacity and whether you’re charging people (a “ticketed” film event) or not (a “non-ticketed” film event).

View our pricing page.

Can I be billed after my film screening has happened?

If you didn’t secure your booking before your film event, then we reserve the right to bill you retrospectively in line with our Single Title Screening Licence Terms and Conditions.
