You remind me of the babe...

English singer, songwriter and actor David Bowie passed away in January 2016. Much loved for his roles in iconic Seventies and Eighties classics, we have taken a look at his impact on the silver screen:

  • Labyrinth - A selfish 16-year old girl (Jennifer Connelly) is given 13 hours to solve a labyrinth and rescue her baby brother when her wish for him to be taken away is granted by the Goblin King (Bowie).
  • The Hunger - John (Bowie) is the lover of the gorgeous immortal vampire Miriam (Catherine Deneuve), and he's been led to believe that he'll live forever, too. Unfortunately, he quickly deteriorates into a horrible living death, and Miriam seeks a new companion.
  • Inglorious Basterds - he may not have appeared in the film, but Bowie's epic song Cat People provided the musical accompaniment to one of Tarantino's film's most memorable scenes.
