"London, July 2005.With no word from her student daughter two days after the 7/7 bombings, Guernsey widow Elisabeth (Brenda Blethyn) sets off to London in search of her. Here she meets Ousmane (Sotigui Kouyate) who has come looking for his son. An unlikely friendship develops as they search hospitals and morgues for their missing children, and try to unravel the mystery of their disappearance.
